An exemplar of the standard version of Tu-ta-ti (CBS 7078)

Abstract

This article presents an unpublished tablet, CBS 7078, from the Penn Museum. This tablet contains the most complete text of the OB Nippur standard version of the Tu-ta-ti syllabary, along with the extracts from Syllable Alphabet B and a list of Personal Names, which present the earliest stage of scribal education in OB Nippur. In this article, a detailed introduction to the tablet and its full edition with hand copies and photos of the obverse and the reverse will be presented.
