Šukubum and his economic activity in the city E2-sagdana Nibruki
Abstract
This research is based on the study of 14 cuneiform texts dating back to the Neo-Sumerian period, 10 of which are previously unstudied, along with four others studied in master's theses. These texts form part of an archive of the administrator Šukubum, and belong to a (confiscated) collection handed over to the Karbala Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate in 2019. This study proposes that the origin of these texts lies in the city of E2-sagdana-Nibruki and not in Puzriš-Dagan.
