Abstract

The present article discusses a number of structural and topically related issues regarding the Alamdimm & ucirc; subseries on women's physiognomy (& Scaron;umma qaqqada rab & acirc;t 'If a woman has a big head (lit. she is big (concerning) the head)') and the seeming absence of observations of infants' physiognomy. A couple of new fragments are edited here for the first time along with hand copies. In connection with the already published but not yet as such identified fragments of the very same text, these fragments suggest that there was indeed a tablet on the systematic observation of the physiognomy of infants, which can now be considered the second tablet of & Scaron;umma qaqqada rab & acirc;t.
